The status of Horsham District Council services has changed during the national lockdown

06 Jan 2021

Outdoor activities

All the Council's parks and sites (Leechpool/Owlbeech Woods, Chesworth Farm, Southwater Park, Warnham Local Nature Reserve, Horsham Park) remain open for exercise and fresh air.

The café at Southwater Country Park is open for takeaway refreshments only, but the Warnham Local Nature Reserve café is closed.

Toilet facilities at both Southwater Country Park and Warnham Local Nature Reserve will remain open.  There are no toilets in Horsham Park, with the nearest facilities being  in Swan Walk and Piries Place.

Playgrounds will remain open but we remind everybody to be mindful about social distancing and follow government guidance.  If a facility is busy, please come back later.

The skate parks in Horsham Park and the Bridge Leisure Centre, Broadbridge Heath, and the BMX Pump Track at Highwood are closed, as are the ball courts, tennis courts and outdoor gyms in line with the Government’s guidance.

Leisure and culture facilities

All leisure centres will remain closed until further notice. Please visit Places Leisure's website for more information.

Horsham’s Capitol theatre and cinema and the Museum and Art Gallery will remain closed until further notice.

Reaching Higher Project sports sessions will continue to go ahead on Zoom. For information please visit the Reaching Higher Project web-page.

Horsham District Council will keep the situation under constant review. The latest updates and information are available on our Coronavirus (COVID-19) web-page.
