The Big Nibble celebrates Sussex produce through a vibrant food and drink market together with a live cookery theatre featuring top Sussex chefs.
Organised by Food Rocks and Horsham District Council, the 2026 Big Nibble took place in Horsham's Carfax in September.

Live cookery theatre
A live cookery theatre featured top Sussex chefs from local businesses, including Horsham’s FELIX Bistro and South Lodge, hosted by food guru Hilary Knight.
Local food and drink market
A vibrant food and drink market showcased an impressive array of around 30 Sussex producers and traders, from artisan foods and local delicacies to award-winning drinks.
Family entertainment
Musical entertainment took place on the Carfax bandstand, performed by Little Notes Fruit & Veg Band and Big Notes Choir.
Sussex Beehive sponsored by Schroders
There was a special celebration of Sussex honey products at the event’s ‘Sussex Beehive’ market feature, sponsored by Schroders.
Town centre tasters
Delicious tasters were on offer from town centre businesses including Beeches Buffet and Urban Fuse.
Live window painting
There was live window painting by local artist Annalees of Whistlestop Arts to promote the Sussex Honey Guide.
