This Christmas you can support local businesses through our Buy Local Gift Happy campaign, by voting for your favourite festive displays in our Christmas Magic Displays Competition this December.
Vote for your favourite Christmas Magic Displays
Celebrate the festive windows, market stalls and internal displays which help to make our towns and villages a magical place, for the chance to win a fantastic prize.
The winning businesses voted by you will be announced w/c 15 December, who will benefit from extra publicity in December.
Who is taking part?
Businesses in Horsham District who have a festive window, internal or market stall displays which is visible to visiting customers are participating in this competition. They will be displaying window stickers or tent cards using the competition's branding, to let you know they're taking part.
Why is this good for local businesses?
- You’ll be supporting your local high street and each business will get some great district-wide promotion, helping to keep our local economy busy at this important time.
- The winning businesses will receive some great publicity and a framed certificate to showcase their win.
What can I win?
There is a fantastic selection of exciting prizes available to win. Vote for your favourite magic displays for the chance to win one of the following:
A wonderful walking tour and wine tasting experience for two at the picturesque Kinsbrook Vineyard in Thakeham.
A fantastic Family Ticket for the action-packed Robin Hood pantomime featuring dazzling costumes, spectacular sets, catchy songs and plenty of laughs at The Capitol Horsham.
A relaxing wood-fired sauna experience for two with Kindred Sauna, in the heart of Knepp Estate’s rewilded landscape.
How do I vote?
Voting takes place from Friday 5 December to Sunday 14 December, with the winning businesses announced w/c 15 December. To vote for your favourite displays all you need to do is:
- View the gallery web page, showcasing photos of business’s magical displays.
- Place your vote using our online form.
If you’ve entered the public prize competition, we will be in touch with the lucky winners w/c 15 December.
Your vote will determine an overall winning window and display. There will also be awards for winning displays in Horsham town centre, in collaboration with Your Horsham, Horsham’s Business Improvement District, as well as six rural towns and villages across the Horsham District.
This year a new award for the Most Sustainable Display has been introduced, which will be judged by Kinder Living, a local CIC who support sustainable local businesses. This category will celebrate those who have gone the extra mile to design their display with sustainability in mind.
