Shared and overcrowded housing - reducing the risk of infection

The Government have updated their guidance explaining the additional steps you should consider to reduce the risk of catching or passing on COVID-19 in the home.

This guidance applies to those who rent their accommodation, and people who own their accommodation, in particular for people who live in:

  • accommodation with shared facilities, such as a block of flats
  • overcrowded accommodation
  • shared accommodation
