Apply for a busker licence
A busker licence is a permit to perform in Horsham Town Centre. A busker licence is free, and you can apply online.
Applicants can now apply for a permit on an individual basis. At the moment we are not issuing permits to groups.
Anyone over the age of 14 can apply for a busker licence. Visit the government's website for more information about busking licences.
To apply for a busking licence, please complete the following steps:
- Read the conditions of the licence
- Please click the button below to sign up or sign in to your Environmental Health and Licensing Online Portal account, where you will be able to Request a new Licence by clicking on the 3 line menu icon at the top left of the screen
Confirm your performance with us
Once your have your licence, please email licensing@horsham.gov.uk during normal working hours to confirm your performance.
Licensed buskers are required to make available their badge for inspection by Horsham District Council Town Centre Wardens, Police, Environmental Health or Licencing officers who will check your booking.
You will not be able to perform until your application has been granted. If you have not heard from us within a reasonable period, please contact Licensing.
