The Capitol Horsham to re-open for Bank Holiday Weekend

11 May 2021

Matthew Effemey, Operations Manager at The Capitol Horsham has confirmed Horsham’s multi-arts venue will re-open on Friday 28 May 2021. Matthew said:

We are over the moon to be able to confirm we’ll be open for the May Bank Holiday weekend and just can’t wait to welcome our customers back through the door.

There’s some great films to see including the multi-award winning Nomadland (12A) starring Frances McDormand, Disney’s Cruella (12A), a comedy drama based on the character Cruella De Vil from the animated film One Hundred and One Dalmatians; Ammonite (15) an intense romance with a few twists and turns along the way starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan and fun for all the family with Peter Rabbit 2: the Runaway (U).

The first few shows will be socially distanced and their line-up opens with Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 June, followed by Joel Dommett & Friends on Friday 11 June, Britain’s much-loved Soprano singer, Lesley Garrett CBE on Sunday 20 June and an exclusive show for Horsham from West-End stars Oliver Tompsett and Louise Dearman in A Night at The Musicals on Saturday 24 July.

Matthew added:

We want our customers to enjoy the magic of live theatre once more and are looking forward to a packed programme of shows for the autumn including the great British Comedy, Educating Rita in September and some fantastic family shows.

Covid Safety measures will remain in line with Government guidelines and The Capitol has been awarded use of the See It Safely scheme which demonstrates that safety forms the foundation for their re-opening plan.

Tickets for all upcoming shows can be booked on The Capitol Horsham website.
