Remembrance Sunday Service in Horsham 2021

A respectful act of remembrance was marked this year at the War Memorial in Horsham’s Carfax on Sunday 14 November.

Horsham District Council Chairman Cllr David Skipp led the wreath laying on behalf of the people of the Horsham District. Wreaths were also laid by Cllr Karen Burgess on behalf of Jeremy Quin MP and by Cllr Andrew Baldwin on behalf of West Sussex County Council.

The tradition of gathering to pay respect and remember all who have served to safeguard our world and our liberty was marked as follows:

Horsham District Council’s Cllr Martin Boffey played at two Remembrance services; on Armistice Day and on Remembrance Sunday, as well as other services in Horsham throughout the week.

The Horsham Branch of the Royal British Legion was the lead organiser of the event this year in partnership with Horsham District Council.
