Cllr David Skipp, Chairman of Horsham District Council and Cllr Sam Raby, Cabinet Member for Housing, Communities and Wellbeing went along to Chanctonbury Leisure Centre today to present a 2023 Horsham District Volunteer Award to Phil Pickard for his outstanding contribution to Chanctonbury Leisure Centre.
The Outstanding Contribution Award recognises outstanding contribution and positive change in the local community.
This was the final presentation following the 2023 Horsham District Volunteers’ Week awards hosted by Horsham District Council on 7 June which celebrated the fantastic work of local volunteers across Horsham District.
The Volunteer Awards scheme, launched for the first time in 2022, highlights the many amazing volunteers who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors of the Horsham District.
