On Thursday 13 July, the Ashington Neighbourhood Wardens, Bryony and Christina, ran a bike safety event at Ashington Community Centre with Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire & Rescue, and the Bicycle Exchange. Visitors to the event were offered free bike safety checks, property marking, and ideas on how to stay safe on the roads. Free bike lights were also given out to keep cyclists safe and visible.
