Local Horsham families in need will receive free family cinema tickets to The Capitol this Christmas thanks to a collaboration between Horsham District Council and Horsham Matters who manage the Horsham District Foodbank.
Every Christmas food hamper which is distributed by Horsham Matters will also include a family ticket to The Capitol.
Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing Cllr Sam Raby said:
“Many people in our communities continue to struggle financially and Christmas can be an additional pressure for lots of families.
We wanted to do our bit this year to help people going through tough times to enjoy Christmas that little bit more by donating these tickets for a family night out during the festive season.
“I hope as many of them as possible will come along to The Capitol if they can.”
Managing Director of Horsham Matters Emma Elnaugh added:
“We are so pleased to be able to include Capitol tickets with our food and gift parcels this year. At a time when households are facing financial challenges the gift of a trip out will help lift their spirits.”
