Drugs use in Horsham District - have your say

Have Your Say

Horsham District Council and West Sussex County Council are committed to reducing drug demand in the Horsham District and are inviting local people to give their views on drug use via an online survey.

Understanding the drivers of drug demand and what makes people vulnerable to drug use is key to them taking appropriate action and ensuring that targeted support is put in place for the future.

To complete the anonymous survey, please visit the West Sussex County Council website.

The survey is available until 26 May 2024.

The West Sussex County Council Public Health and Social Research Unit will analyse the completed surveys and produce a results report with proposed actions based on findings.

Commenting on the survey, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing Cllr Sam Raby said:

As a council we are committed to working with partner organisations to understand more about the psychological, social and community risk factors that can lead to drug abuse. We provide interventions where we can, and signpost to support services to help people combat the addiction and the physical and mental health harms associated with substance misuse.

“Working in collaboration with the community is vital to achieving this, so please do take the time to complete this short survey.”

The survey is completely anonymous and contains no information that can be used to identify you.
