Building on the Council’s successful Business Training Programme, which launched in 2023 and runs until 2025, this latest round of training will cover an array of topics including social media, first aid, videography, business growth strategies, web content management, product photography and more. Led by locally based independent business experts in their fields, the programme is delivered through a multitude of workshops, masterclasses and 121s using a blend of online and in-person formats.
Cllr Joanne Knowles, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Economic Development & Property, said:
This new programme of training has been developed based on some great feedback from local businesses including the type of training they would most benefit from. The workshops and 121 sessions are a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to upskill and build in resilience to their business models. I would encourage businesses to be ready to book on this popular programme from December.
One local business who attended a workshop in the last round of training commented:It was absolutely brilliant, very in-depth and allowed you to ask questions and understand.
