A uniquely designed new bench has been donated to Horsham Park by local company Sussex Iron Ltd.
Horsham District Council has recently installed the new bespoke bench in the maze area of the Park. It is created from metal and boasts a striking dragon motif design reflecting the St Leonard’s Dragon in the centre of the maze and celebrating local culture.
Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture Cllr David Skipp said:
We are really delighted with the new bench which is a unique and welcome addition to the maze area of the park.
Our sincere thanks go out to Sussex Iron Ltd for their very generous donation of this beautifully crafted bench which will be enjoyed by many people for many years to come.

We’re immensely proud to gift this bench to the park and sincerely hope it will be enjoyed by the community for many years.
Over the past three decades, we’ve tackled almost every kind of metalwork project imaginable—along with plenty of unexpected ones. From crafting and installing steelwork that shaped Horsham’s historic town centre to repairing cherished sentimental objects for our customers, our journey has been diverse and fulfilling. Among the many projects we undertake at The Forge, the most rewarding are those that directly benefit our community and highlight our unique role in today’s modern, throwaway culture.
