Horsham District Council is inviting local employers looking to recruit new staff, to book a stand now at this year’s Jobs and Skills Fair. Returning to Horsham’s Drill Hall for 2025, this popular event will take place Saturday 27 September 2025 from 10am to 2pm.
Whether you are an employer with job vacancies or are expecting to recruit in the coming months, make sure you book a stand.
The event is expected to welcome hundreds of local jobseekers, providing them with the opportunity to meet local employers with current or future vacancies and find out about training opportunities.
Over the years, the Jobs and Skills Fairs have supported local businesses to recruit new staff and helped many jobseekers to be matched with local employment opportunities. The Drill Hall can accommodate up to 40 employers from a variety of business sectors, attracting a broad range of local jobseekers with the opportunity to give participating businesses some excellent exposure.
Employers who have participated in past events have consistently shared positive feedback, with many returning year after year to showcase their opportunities. One exhibitor from the 2024 fair shared their experience:
“Great event, well organised, plenty of space and a great atmosphere. Thank you for inviting me.”
Training providers are also invited to book a stand, catering for people who are looking for a career change or to get back into work after a break.
Horsham District Council’s Cllr Jonathan Taylor, Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Property commented:
Horsham’s Jobs and Skills Fairs are a valuable opportunity for local businesses to connect with jobseekers, showcase their fantastic employment and training opportunities and to attract new talent.
"If you’re a local employer seeking to recruit new staff or provide apprenticeships or training programmes, book your stand for the fair today.”
Local employers, recruiters and training providers who would like to book a stand should fill in the online registration form by Friday 25 July.
