The Battle of Britain 85th anniversary was marked with a respectful act of remembrance in Horsham town centre this morning (15 September) at the War Memorial.
Horsham District Council’s Chairman Cllr Tony Bevis led a simple wreath laying ceremony with members of the Horsham Branch of the Royal British Legion and the Royal Observer Corps Association 2 Group Horsham.
The Royal British Legion Vice Chairman Carol Tester and Paul Rogers laid wreaths on behalf of the Royal British Legion and David Gill laid a wreath on behalf of the Royal Observer Corps Association.
The Battle of Britain flag was raised.
