Energy Saving Plan Builder

Horsham District Council, in partnership with Chichester District Council, has launched a free online Plan Builder to help residents improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

The tool generates a personalised home improvement plan based on your property details, offering tailored recommendations with estimated costs and savings. From simple upgrades like LED lighting to more advanced retrofitting options, the tool helps users explore ways to cut energy bills, stay warmer, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Cllr Colette Blackburn, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Climate Action and Nature Recovery said: “We can all do our bit to reduce energy consumption and reap the benefits.

Making changes to improve the energy efficiency of our homes, which is also known as retrofitting, has lots of benefits, but it’s not always easy to know just where to start.

“This easy-to-use tool gives residents a clear starting point, helping them understand the retrofitting options that are appropriate for them which will benefit both their wallets and the climate.”

Residents can enter their postcode, confirm property details, and receive a customised plan. By creating a free account, users can save, edit, and revisit their plan at any time.

Try the Energy Saver Plan Builder now and take the first step toward a more sustainable, more cost-effective home by visiting the Council website.
