Council visit to Envitia in Horsham

As part of a series of meetings with prominent local businesses, members of Horsham District Council’s internal Enterprising Horsham Business Charter Group, along with the Council’s Cabinet Member for Climate Action and Nature Recovery Cllr Colette Blackburn recently visited data software and services company Envitia Group Ltd, at their premises in Horsham.

Founded in 1989, Envitia Group Ltd solve complex data challenges. Across public and private sectors, they use their technology and data expertise to help customers improve decision-making by leveraging accurate and relevant data. Key services include AI and machine learning, cloud services, geospatial technology, data quality, digital strategy, and software engineering.

Envitia has grown significantly in recent years, now employing a highly motivated workforce of approximately 90 staff plus contractors. The company places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, culture, and values and this year were recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work based on employee feedback.
The Council’s visit to Envitia’s Horsham headquarters included a comprehensive guided tour and a meeting, providing a valuable overview of their business operations, staffing model, growth trajectory, and current challenges.

Commenting on the visit, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Climate Action and Nature Recovery, Cllr Colette Blackburn, said:

The visit to Envitia is part of the Council’s engagement programme with businesses within the Horsham District that help to create, maintain, and promote a prosperous community and local economy.
