A series of conferences focussing on mental health are being held across West Sussex. The conferences are being championed and organised by West Sussex High Sheriff Dr Tim Fooks.
Today (9 December) a conference is being hosted by Horsham District Council in their Albery House offices.
The High Sheriff was welcomed by Horsham District Council Chairman Cllr Tony Bevis.
The conference brought together community groups, health professionals, charities, emergency services and local individuals amongst others to increase the profile of widespread mental health challenges in the area and help source solutions.
Dr Fooks has made mental health a major focus area for his year of office. The conference is touring the seven neighbourhood areas of the county.
