Horsham District Council is inviting local employers looking to attract new local talent to book a stand for the Jobs & Skills Fair 2026, taking place at the Drill Hall, Horsham on Wednesday 30 September 2026 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.
Following feedback gathered through post-event surveys last year, this well-established event has been moved to a Wednesday evening for 2026. The move to this time provides more opportunity for both employers and job seekers to connect and network.
Whether you are an employer with current or future job vacancies, apprenticeships or career opportunities, exhibiting a stand at the Horsham District Jobs & Skills Fair offers a valuable platform to meet prospective employees and boost exposure for your business.
Over the years, the Jobs & Skills Fair has helped many local businesses recruit new staff and connected jobseekers with employment opportunities across the District. In 2025, attending employers reported that they anticipated filling nearly 70% of their vacancies as a result of the Fair.
With space for up to 40 employers in the Drill Hall venue, the event attracts hundreds of local jobseekers and offers excellent exposure for participating businesses.
Employers who have participated in the Jobs Fair previously have consistently given positive feedback, highlighting the opportunity to develop new links with local employers and partners, access a strong pool of candidates, and benefit from the event’s organisation. As a result, many exhibitors return year after year to showcase their opportunities.
Apprenticeship and training providers are also encouraged to book a stand, to support individuals who are looking to start their career journey, have a career change, refresh their skills or return to work.
Horsham District Council’s Cllr Jonathan Taylor, Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Property commented: “The Horsham Jobs and Skills Fair is a fantastic and valuable opportunity for businesses of all sizes and sectors to showcase their excellent opportunities and connect directly with local jobseekers.
If you are looking to recruit, attract new talent or promote your apprenticeships and training programmes, I would encourage you to be part of this popular event and book a stand today.’’
Local employers, recruiters and training providers can apply for a stand at the Jobs & Skills Fair by completing the online registration form by Friday 17th July 2026:.
