Today, (9 September) Horsham District Council Vice Chairman Councillor Nigel Emery joined Horsham Branch Royal British Legion’s Chairman Zäl Rustom and representatives from the emergency services to lay wreaths to mark National Emergency Services Day.
Laying the wreaths at the War Memorial in Horsham’s Carfax honours the courage and commitment of emergency service personnel across the UK.
We remember and thank the dedicated men and women of our emergency services for their service and sacrifice, recognising the invaluable contribution they make to keeping our communities safe every day.
