The eight winning local businesses for ‘Christmas Magic Displays Competition’ have now been decided. The competition was part of the Council’s ‘Buy Local Gift Happy’ campaign to support local businesses this festive season.

The Council has bestowed one of the highest honours in its gift in conferring the title of Honorary Alderman on three former councillors for their outstanding service and dedication to the Horsham District.

Our Parks and Countryside team were joined by a group from the Aldingbourne Trust on Thursday 30 November, to create a hibernaculum. A hibernaculum is a structure providing shelter throughout the winter for amphibians and reptiles, such as frogs, toads, newts, lizards and snakes.
