Love Parks Week
Love Parks Week is a celebration of our Parks featuring free arts, crafts, performance and sports, bringing together our community of all ages.
We've got plenty in store for this year! From Monday July 27 - Friday July 31 we'll be in parks across the District with a range of free and low-cost activities and entertainment.
We will be at Horsham Park on Monday, Henfield Common on Tuesday and South Holmes Open Space on Wednesday
Fabularium: There Be Monsters
Join the hapless but noble knight Don Quixote and his long suffering, fortune seeking sidekick Sancha Panza on their epic quest to revive chivalry, confront monsters and seek to right what is wrong or accidentally wrong what is right!
There be Monsters is a new show for 2026 and last approximately 35 minutes.
Times: 11am and 2pm
Cost: Free
Circus Skills Workshop
Try your hand at a range of circus skills including juggling, diablo and more..
Simply turn up and have a go.
Times: 10-11am / 12-2pm/ 3-4pm
Cost: Free
Nature Crafting
Spend an hour with the forest school team from Wonderbugs sawing wood cookies, whittling, nature looming, creating ephemeral art and more...
Times:
Monday to Wednesday: 10am , 12.30pm, 3pm
Cost: £3.00 per person
Sessions must be pre-booked.
Make a Monster Family
Using clay and natural materials, sculpt your very own monster family to live in your garden. This session last 20 minutes.
Times: 11am, 11.45am and 12.30pm
Cost: £1.00 per person
Sessions must be pre-booked.
Create a Toad Abode
Create a habitat that you can add to your own garden, providing a cooling shelter for toads and frogs. This session lasts 30 minutes.
Times: 1.45pm, 2.30pm and 3.15pm
Cost: £2.50 per person
Sessions must be pre-booked.
Sports and Garden Games
A selection of sports and garden games will be available at each event.
Simply turn up and join with the team from HDC Sports Development and West Sussex Family Services Hub.
Times: 10-11am / 12-2pm/ 3-4pm
Cost: Free
Free nature themed arts and crafts will be available each day.

The Fabularium: Carnival of animals
Come one, come all! Behold the wilderness of The Carnival of Animals. These wonderous woodland creatures have banded together to share with you their stories of courage and adventure, and delight you with songs of celebration and friendship. Suitable for all ages.
With live acoustic aaccompainment and bespoke animal headpieces. The Fabularium presents a collection of fables, fun for all the family.
