Woodland tales with the Fabularium
A fun-filled storytelling hour for all ages. The troop will be performing in Horsham, including Leechpool and Bennetts Field, Steyning and Southwater across the week. See below for dates

The Girl who Gardens
Floral arts and crafts sessions with Renée, also known as The Girl who Gardens. Make hair combs in Horsham and Southwater and mandalas in Steyning. See below for dates

Wild and Well Yoga
Wild and Wellbeing yoga will be running half-hour yoga sessions at Leechpool Woods. See below for dates
Horsham Park and Carfax events
Saturday 29 July
Horsham Chamber Choir, 11am-1pm Carfax Bandstand
Horsham Chamber Choir will immerse the town with music from their recent concert Folk Traditions Vol.1, a choral exploration of folk music from the British Isles.
Sunday 30 July
Woodland Tales with the Fabularium, 11am, 1pm and 4pm in Horsham Park Human Nature Garden
Bring a blanket and your friends along for a fun-filled performance from the animals from Fabularium. Performance times of approximately 60 minutes. Families and groups welcome. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
Slinfold Concert Band, 2-4pm on Horsham Park Podium
Join us for music on the Park Podium. Please be aware that public seating in the area is very limited, so please bring your own small chairs.
Floral Creations with The Girl Who Gardens, 5-7pm at Horsham Park Barn, Horsham Park
Come and make a beautiful hair comb with Renée aka The Girl Who Gardens.
Perfect for a summer party, Renée will show you how to attach a selection of dried flowers and grasses to a hair comb to get you looking festival ready. Great fun for adults, teens and children but under 10’s might find it a bit fiddly and need help. All children should be supervised.
Spaces may be limited and will offered on a first come first served basis.
Free Children's Fun Session shows at Horsham Park Podium, 2pm and 3.15pm. Each show is approximately 45 minutes and great for under 6s.

Monday 31 July

Bring a blanket and your friends along for a fun-filled performance from the animals from Fabularium. Performance times of approximately 60 minutes. Families and groups welcome. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
Floral Creations with The Girl Who Gardens, 12-3pm
Come and make flower petal mandalas with Renée aka The Girl Who Gardens.
Relax by making a mandala made of petals and leaves that you can take home to adorn your wall. Renée will bring a selection of flowers and foliage for you to choose from and guide you in making a mandala. There’s nothing more relaxing than making and chatting together. Suitable for adults, teens and children. Those under 7 might need a hand and all children should be supervised.
Spaces will be open throughout the day to get involved but may be limited and will offered on a first come first served basis.
Paintbox Project: Plaster Parklife, 10-4pm
Get messy in the fresh air with Paintbox and make plaster of paris models of your favourite park wildlife!

Parking space may be limited at Southwater Country Park (check the car park locations on our Southwater Country Park page). We encourage you to walk, cycle or take public transport.
Wednesday 2 August
Storytelling with the Fabularium, 10.15, 12pm, 1.45pm, 3.15pm in Dinosaur Island play area
If there’s one thing The Fabularium loves above all else, it’s stories! Come and hear tales from across the globe with The Fabularium, with interactive storytelling and music.
Bring a blanket and your friends along. Performance times of approx. 45min. Families and groups welcome. All children should be accompanied by an adult.

Southwater Water Sports Hire, 5-7pm
Have a go at watersports on Southwater Country Park's lake. Enjoy a free 20 minutes paddle board or kayak session with Southwater Watersports.
Leechpool Woods events
Parking is limited at Leechpool Woods. We encourage you to walk, cycle or take public transport where possible.
Wonderbugs Forest School Activities, 10.30-12.30 and 1.30-4pm in the camp space
Spend time in the woods, use tools to make woodland crafts, make birdfeeders, get muddy and have fun! Families and groups welcome. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
Wild & Well Yoga, 10-10.30am and 1-1.30pm South Holmes Play Area
Join Derry for a fun, family yoga session on the green.
Suitable for beginners and all ages - under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket to stand/sit on.
The nearest car park for South Holmes play area is RH13 6AW. Please walk or cycle to the site if you are able to.

Horsham Museum events
Summer Evening at Horsham Museum 6-8pm
An evening of live music and free refreshments at Horsham Museum and Art Gallery. Entertainment from Spanish guitarist Glenn Palmer from 6pm.
The evening will also host a Flower Crown Workshop with The Girl that Gardens. Join this workshop to create a flower crown from fresh flowers. Inspired by our summer exhibition on local collector Frederick DuCane Godman and his plant collection. Booking essential £24pp.
Piries Place events
DUE TO WEATHER WARNINGS THIS HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO SUNDAY 6TH AUGUST TO TAKE PART WITH THE STORY TELLING
Planting & Potting 12-2pm
Join us in our Summer zone at Piries Place where Mawgan from FairKind Child will be hosting a plant potting workshop in the square, from 12-2pm. Mawgan will be guiding you through the workshop, potting some bee and butterfly friendly bulbs. The event is free and open to all. The bulbs will be yours to take home and nurture. Get your green fingers ready!
Ice Cream & Stories, 12-2pm
Delicious Dreams Vintage Ice-Cream Bike will be visiting the square from 12pm - 3pm and will be giving away the first 50 ice-creams free (first come, first serve)! And why not sit down with your ice-cream and enjoy some story time with Mawgan from FairKind Child reading a selection of books about nature, wildlife, and caring for the planet, from 12-2pm at Piries Place.
