South Holmes Open Space

South Holmes / Owlbeech Open Space Consultation

In 2026, as part of the Council's Play Strategy,  we will be working to improve the play area and  wider park at South Holmes Open Space.

This popular green space in Roffey,  adjacent to Owlbeech Woods,  currently has a large wooden play area suitable for children under 12 as well as a multi-use games court (MUGA).

It is also a popular dog walking spot (leading to the wider woods) and place to get together with friends and family.

Our focus will be on the replacement of the play area, but we are also exploring options to improve the facilities for young people in the wider open space.

To help us develop our future  plans, we would like to know how our residents, users and visitors, of all ages, currently use the space and how they would like to see it improved for the future.

Our public consultation runs from 3 October - 4 November 2025 and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and views.
