Non-Material Amendment

A non-material amendment can be applied for after planning permission has been granted, as new issues can arise after this stage that may require changes to the proposals.

There is no statutory definition of 'non-material' - an amendment that is non-material for one scheme could be material for another. If an application for a non-material consideration is successful, no new planning permission is created.
