International Earth Day this year focuses on Our People, Our Planet. In support of this we would like to remind climate-active communities across the District to join our online climate action platform known as One Planet.
Action on climate is complex and cannot be achieved by Horsham District Council alone. Our Climate Action Strategy has been mapped onto an online platform, known as One Planet, which enables us to not only manage, track, and report on our own Climate Action progress, but also show links between the strategy actions and other strategies, both within the council and by other organisations.
This interactive tool also allows parishes and community groups to contribute their own actions to the map, illustrating work across the whole community.
This is a really powerful way of showing how actions by stakeholders, community groups, and businesses can contribute to a shared vision of climate action for our District.
You are invited to explore this interactive public map which you can use to craft your own action plan whilst linking to climate actions taking place across the District.
The search function enables you to filter results by theme and delve down to discover progress updates, case studies and stories about each area of climate action.
