Horsham District Community Lottery

Horsham District Community Lottery is a weekly online lottery that helps to raise valuable additional funds to support charities, community groups and local voluntary groups whose work benefits residents in Horsham District.

How does it work?

Anyone buying a £1 ticket can select the community group they want to support from those registered on the website.

At least 50p of the £1 ticket price goes directly to the ticket buyer's chosen group. 10p in every pound also goes into a community lottery fund which will be distributed by the Council to community projects across the District. The rest of the money goes towards prizes, VAT and administration costs.

There is no cost to the charity or community/voluntary groups who sign up to the lottery.

Sign your community group up

We encourage local community groups to find out more and sign up to be a beneficiary of the ticket sales. Those who have signed up will get their own page on the lottery website site and receive marketing support to help encourage ticket sales from their supporters. They will keep 50% of all tickets sold through their page.

Sign up by December 12 to be entered into our sixth anniversary prize draw! Your organisation could win £500. Existing lottery members will be entered automatically.

All applicants will need to provide the following:

  • Constitution or set of rules.
  • Last two years' annual accounts or statement of income and expenditure.
  • Recent original bank statement from any current and investment account- you may redact personal information.
  • Safeguarding Policy (if applicable).
  • Vulnerable Adults Policy (if applicable).
