Horsham District Safe and Well Partnership

Horsham District Safe and Well Partnership brings together many agencies who work together to ensure the District is a safe place to be.

The members of the Horsham District Safe and Well Partnership are:

Our priorities

At the start of each financial year the Community Safety Partnership develops its plan of activity for the year ahead. The public are consulted and their views are taken into account as the plan is confirmed.

We have identified three priorities for the year:

  • Serious violence
  • Younger people
  • Targeting deprivation

Our Prevent work

Prevent is about safeguarding people and communities from the threat of terrorism. Prevent is 1 of the 4 elements of CONTEST, the Government’s counter-terrorism strategy. It aims to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.

Horsham District Council are working with partners and communities to reduce the risk of extremism and radicalisation within the district.
