Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Planning and Development Cllr Claire Vickers said:

“I am really pleased that we have now reached the stage where we can start our public consultation. The Government has instructed all local authorities to build a significantly higher number of new homes in the coming years.

“I do not underestimate the difficulty of this task, but if we are to have a new Local Plan ready for adoption in 2021 we need to work to a timetable and this consultation is part of that process.

I urge everyone to read the consultation document and to give us your views.
