Jobseekers will be able to meet a broad range of employers from lots of different industries and find out about a host of exciting work and training opportunities available.

This year amongst the organisations who will be promoting their vacancies are:

  • Metricell (Telecommunications)
  • Waitrose (Retail)
  • Hub Electronics (Distributor of Electro-mechanical products and services)
  • Schroders (Investment Management)
  • Little Barn Owls (a group of multi award-winning forest and farm school nurseries.

Over the years thousands of local jobseekers have found jobs and training opportunities at our popular jobs fair event.

The Fair, organised by Horsham District Council, will be a great opportunity for those seeking a job, thinking of changing their existing one or considering on-the-job training through an apprenticeship to meet a wide range of employers eager to recruit and grow their organisations.

In support of the Jobs Fair, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for the Local Economy and Place Cllr Ruth Fletcher commented:

As a District Council it is important for us to help our residents and our businesses thrive and by bringing both groups together at our Job Fairs we aim to do just that.

In the current climate local recruiters are telling us that they are often struggling to find suitable candidates, so this is the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their vacancies to a large audience.

After the summer break it is also the perfect time of year for jobseekers and any students who have left education to come to our Jobs Fair and see what future opportunities are available.

The fair looks to build on the success of seven previous events.
