As part of an exciting new round of Horsham District Council’s popular Business Training Programme, local businesses can now book their spot on a range of training workshops and one to one sessions to help them upskill this July.

First launched in 2022, this year’s programme builds on the success of previous years and introduces a variety of engaging new topics based on feedback from local businesses. These include mental health first aid, workplace wellness, AI and video editing. One to one support and resources on business growth strategies and sales are also available to access now. Some workshops have a nominal cost to the ticket with the remainder being paid by the Council, on behalf of businesses.

Cllr Jonathan Taylor, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Enterprise & Property, said:

“Nurturing business development and enhancing the skill base of residents and businesses are key focusses of our support for the local economy and our Enterprising Horsham framework.

“This business training programme delivers on both aspirations.

“I am pleased we are launching this new round of business training with some fantastic new workshops available to access. I would encourage businesses to take a look at all the support on offer and secure their spot on this popular programme now.”

One local business who attended workshops in the last round of training commented:

“I think the training sessions offered by the Council are outstanding value for money with brilliant content.”
