Free children’s fun sessions return

There is no need to book - just turn up and enjoy. Each show lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Free guided bat walks
Come with us as we search Southwater Country Park for bats and other nightlife. This is your opportunity to see, hear and find out more about these amazing mammals.
Places are free but must be pre-booked. Due to popular demand, please only book one walk per person as multiple bookings will be cancelled. The events will take place on: 17th June, 17th July, 19th August, and 16th September. Start times depend on the sunset.
At Warnham Local Nature Reserve there are a wide range of events on offer to suit all ages and interests from expert-led talks and guided tours to children's activities and trails. These events are run in conjunction with the Friends of Warnham Local Nature Reserve.

Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, Culture and Green Spaces Cllr Tony Frankland said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming back one of our most diverse spring and summer entertainment programmes yet, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Building on the fantastic response we received last year, we’re set to offer an exciting mix of live music, themed nights, family‑friendly activities, cultural events and nature experiences – and many are completely free of charge.
“From Friday Lates at the Carfax Bandstand and Museum Lates in the beautiful museum garden, to children’s fun sessions in Horsham Park and guided bat walks at Southwater Country Park, this year’s programme creates even more opportunities for people of all ages to come together, relax and enjoy our wonderful outdoor spaces.
“These events help create a vibrant atmosphere throughout our towns, villages and parks, support local traders and performers, and celebrate what makes Horsham such a unique place to spend time. We’d encourage everyone to come along, try something new and make the most of a packed season of free community entertainment."
