Horsham District Council is inviting local job seekers to come along to the Horsham District Jobs and Skills Fair on Wednesday 30 September 2026 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm at the Drill Hall in Denne Road, Horsham.
Following feedback gathered through post-event surveys last year, this popular annual event has been moved to a weekday evening for 2026. This provides more opportunities for local job hunters to meet employers and training providers, while also accessing the free employability support workshops available throughout the event.
Jobseekers will be able to network with a broad range of employers and organisations from a variety of different industries who will be showcasing what they have on offer including paid work, voluntary work, apprenticeships and training opportunities.
This year amongst the many organisations who will be promoting their opportunities are: Benchmark Capital, the Royal Air Force, Mountjoy, Assurity Consulting, Fowler Swimming Pools, Places Leisure, SGN Horsham and Tesla Engineering.
Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Property, Cllr Jonathan Taylor commented: “The Horsham Jobs and Skills Fair has an excellent track record of matching local job seekers with businesses looking to recruit staff and provide training opportunities.
I am really pleased that we are hosting this well-established event once again to help our residents and businesses thrive.
