Horsham District Council is pleased to be bringing back our popular Business Training Programme, with bookings opening this December.
Delivered by local experts, the programme invites District businesses to take part in a range of engaging, interactive workshops and 121 sessions, providing valuable knowledge, skills and development opportunities.
Bookings for workshops taking place early next year will open from Friday 4 December 2026, the week of Small Business Saturday. Businesses can also get involved immediately, with some support already available to book or access now.
During the past four years, the Council has offered more than 480 hours of training to over 450 Horsham District businesses through the programme.
Building on the success of previous years and following feedback from local businesses, this new programme of training will introduce a variety of exciting fresh topics. These include public speaking, AI for business, resilience and more. Sessions on social media, first aid, carbon literacy, photography and videography will return for another year, due to popular demand.
Cllr Jonathan Taylor, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Enterprise & Property, said: “I am delighted we are announcing a new round of upskilling opportunities for Horsham District businesses.
Our business training programme delivers on our aspirations to nurture business development and enhance the skill base of residents and businesses, as part of our support for the local economy.
“The programme is designed in response to demand from our local business community, with some exciting new training topics on offer again this coming year.
“I’d encourage all local businesses looking to upskill and grow, to explore what's on offer and express their interest today.”
Some workshops will have a nominal cost to the ticket, with the remainder being paid by the Council on behalf of businesses.
