The examination has concluded with the Examiner recommending the plan proceed to referendum subject to modifications. A decision statement will be published in due course.
Examination of the Shipley Neighbourhood Plan
John Slater has been appointed as the independent examiner for Shipley Neighbourhood Development Plan. The examiner underwent independent site visits on the 5 June 2020. Having review the representations submitted at Regulation 16, the examiner has concluded there is no requirement for a hearing session.

The consultation ran from Monday 9 March 2020 for 9 weeks until midnight on Monday 11 May 2020. The consultation has now concluded.

Shipley Parish Neighbourhood Plan was put out for consultation in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Plan Regulations (as amended) between 2 September and 21 October 2019, this consultation was extended by a week due to an administrative error. This consultation has now concluded.
Proposed area revision
A further revision to the Neighbourhood Plan Area was approved by Horsham District Council on the 6 August 2019.
A proposal to revise the Shipley Neighbourhood Plan area was put out to consultation from March 5 to April 29 2016.
