Help to find out what financial support is available
We have invested in software which uses housing benefit information to highlight households that could be entitled to additional financial support. For example, of the almost 22,000 residents identified as having a disability, over 2,400 households are in receipt of housing benefits. Our district has over 54,000 residents over the age of 55 and 29% of residents are over the age of 66.
Working in partnership with colleagues from Citizens Advice West Sussex we will be proactively contacting residents from these groups to ensure they are receiving their full entitlement to benefits including Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance and Carers Allowance. We will also be providing information of relevant support and advice services.
