    A meal delivery service operating across West Sussex to deliver hot nutritious meals direct to the door.

  • Billingshurst United Reform Church

    The church runs a monthly dementia cafe on the second Saturday of every month.

  • Carers Health Team

    We are a free service provided by Sussex Community NHS Trust providing support for carers over the age of 18 registered with a West Sussex GP. We work directly with carers and will develop individual strategies for each carer with an aim to reduce the strain of coping with their caring role.

    A team who work with people with long term conditions and their carers to actively promote health and wellbeing in the community; and where possible prevent admission to unplanned care/hospital.

  • Community Reablement Service

    Reablement is the name we give to short-term support designed to help you keep or re-learn skills following a period of ill-health. It could also help to give you back your ability to manage independent living tasks at home.

    A West Sussex County Council team that aims to provide family support early to prevent the need for prolonged support.

  • Family Support Work

    Our team of experienced and professional support practitioners are based all across Sussex. From Bognor Regis in the West to Hastings in the East and covering urban and rural areas. We help families who are struggling with issues including relationship breakdown, mental health, financial hardship and domestic violence. We provide emotional support through one-to-one visits, group sessions and playwork, as well as practical support such as form filling and arranging appointments. Our practitioners will work with a family for as long as they need us and until they feel strong enough to manage on their own.

  • Headway ABI

    Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury. It provides support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.

  • Healthwatch West Sussex

    A signposting service. We are here to listen, take action and influence positive change for local people living in West Sussex. We record what people tell us and share this anonymously with those who make decisions about our health and care services. We are always happy to join local groups to talk about our work. Not only do we collect the experiences of local people, but we can also provide free information and guidance.

    Free impartial advice on how to manage your money and how to deal with your debts and arrears. We can contact creditors on your behalf and try to agree with them repayment plans which you can afford. We can advise you on IVAs and bankruptcy. Office in Horsham.

    A charity run by volunteers offering a free service to advise on how to deal with immediate crisis and longer term debt issues.

  • Horsham District Council Neighbourhood Wardens

    As an integral part of the Community Safety Unit the Neighbourhood Wardens work with all sections of the community from elderly and/or vulnerable people through to young people and businesses to find solutions to problems whilst promoting community cohesion and resilience.

  • Horsham District Older People's Forum

    The Horsham District Older Peoples Forum (HDOPF) is a non-political, free to attend voluntary group that acts as the 'ears' and gives a 'voice' for people aged 60 and over who reside in the HDC area or who cares for someone who is. It also exists for anyone to raise issues with the Forum that relate or affect local older people.

    The Potter's Pantry offers Southwater residents a chance to meet, have a chat over a cuppa and collect a parcel of essential food and toiletries.

  • Prevention Assessment Team (PAT)

    Joint teams including staff from West Sussex County Council, Sussex Community NHS Trust, and Guild Care or Age UK West Sussex. We aim to help people living locally to stay healthy and remain independent. We normally work with people who do not receive services from specialist health care teams or social care services.

  • Roffey Place

    Horsham District Council is working with local homeless charity Turning Tides to develop and open a new innovative service to support people who are experiencing homelessness. The new service is at Roffey Place in north Horsham and will provide high-support accommodation for up to 50 people alongside a range of on-site facilities.

  • Shopmobility Horsham

    Horsham Shopmobility provide manual and powered wheelchairs, and motorised scooters. They are based in Swan Walk car park in Horsham town centre.

  • Southern Water: Priority Services Register

    Southern Water has a range of priority services designed to help ensure customers in special circumstances can access water services eg large print, braille or audio bills or extra support when there is disruption to water supply.

  • Southwater Community Partnership

    We are a group of volunteers who come together to organise a variety of events and celebrations for our community. We are currently engaging with the community to establish their ideas and aspirations for our community and help to implement them through collaboration with groups, businesses and schools.

  • Southwater Pet Food Bank

    Help for families struggling to feed their pets. They collect unwanted and unused pet food to distribute (no live or raw food). Currently the pet food bank is not means tested, this is a service offered on trust.

    Steyning and District Good Neighbours Association operate a volunteer car service available to transport anyone, including the elderly and disabled, to the Health Centre, hospitals and other medical appointments, together with any activity which enhances wellbeing.

    An organisation which will transport anyone in the Steyning area to medical appointments, visit friends/relatives or other destinations in Sussex which enhances well being. Donations gratefully received.
