Horsham Town Community Governance Review - second consultation

Second round of consultation seeks views on Horsham Town Council plans

In May 2025 we asked local residents, businesses and community groups to share their views on whether Horsham Town Centre area should have a Town Council. A resounding 75.5% of the responses received indicated overall support for the creation of a Town Council.

Have your say

In this second consultation we are asking for views on what the Town Council should be called, how the Town Council could work in terms of the number of town councillors and wards it would have and how these wards should be divided. The deadline for responses is 29 September.

Why your opinion matters

Your responses will play a crucial role in developing our proposals for the town centre.  It is important that we receive as many responses as possible to help shape the proposals for the town.

For more information about the development of a town council and a full list of facilities and services a town council could be responsible for please see our Horsham Town Community Governance Review information.
