Local connection criteria

This is a local connection development and, in order to have a local connection with Rudgwick applicants should:

  • immediately before taking up occupation of a Rented Unit had his/her only or principal home in the parish of Rudgwick for a continuous period of not less than two years or
  • has a parent, child, brother, sister or adult child whose only or principal home or place of residence has been for a continuous period of not less than two years in the parish of Rudgwick and they wish to be near that relative; or
  • is and has been permanently employed in the parish of Rudgwick for a continuous period of not less than two years
  • where no person or insufficient persons have a connection with the parish of Rudgwick then the district of Horsham shall be substituted for the parish of Rudgwick.
