You will co-ordinate and deliver training across all levels of the organisation to ensure that staff have the knowledge, understanding, skills and motivation to carry out their roles effectively, while also supporting their development so they can fulfil their potential and contribute fully to the Council’s corporate objectives.
As Learning & Development Adviser you will design, develop and deliver a wide range of training and development programmes, including workplace soft skills, wellbeing and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion training. Hybrid working will be in line with departmental arrangements.
About you:
To succeed as Learning and Development Adviser, you will be someone with a sound understanding of the principles of adult learning and the training cycle, with experience of designing and delivering learning using a variety of methods. You will be confident building relationships, communicating and presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, and able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also have an understanding of apprenticeships and the apprenticeship levy, be highly organised, able to manage and prioritise your workload, and demonstrate a flexible, customer-focused approach.
