Tier 2 status of Council parks and leisure facilities

Status of Horsham District Council’s parks, open spaces and leisure and culture activities as a result of lifting second national lockdown and entering Tier 2 restrictions.

Please note the following changes and restrictions:

Outdoor activities

  • Outdoor gyms, ball courts and Broadbridge Heath Skate Park will re-open as normal from Wednesday 2 December
  • Tennis courts will be available to book from Thursday 3 December
  • Horsham Skate Park will partially re-open. A section of the ramps will remain closed due to surface and structural damage. The affected area will be clearly fenced off.
  • Highwood Pump Track will re-open on Wednesday 2 December. Please be aware that there is now a trial closing time of 6pm. After 6pm riders will be asked to leave the site by Berkeley Homes security staff
  • The benches outside the Kaya Café in Horsham Park will be returned to use on Wednesday 2 December. The need for adequate social distancing in this area of the park will continue to be monitored.

Leisure and culture activities

* All leisure centres will open on Wednesday 2 December. For more information, please visit: Places Leisure

* Horsham’s Capitol theatre and cinema will open on Friday 4 December.
