Grass cutting
West Sussex County Council is responsible for cutting roadside verges and public rights of way. Details of their grass cutting schedule can be found on the West Sussex County Council website together with contact details for reporting problems.
Highway verges on the A27, M23 and A23 are looked after by Highways England.
Contractors undertake grass cutting on our green spaces generally between March and October on a fortnightly basis, with some high amenity sites being cut on a weekly basis.
