Parbrook Play Area, Billingshurst
As part of our continuous programme of play areas across the District, we are now progressing with plans to improve the play opportunities at Parbrook Play Area (between Berrall Way and Stane Street).
Our aim is to make this space even more fun and welcoming for children of all ages to enjoy,
We’ve have now completed the following installations:
Snake Swing with new safety surface: Within the play area, we've introduced a thick rope swing which lots of kids can play on together. This one goes back and forwards rather than up in the air.
Zip Wire with new safety surface: In the wider open space, is a brand new zip wire for speedy rides.
Sheltered seating: Near the path we’ve added new wooden seating that's perfect to relax and chat.
General tidy up: We have also added new gates and repaired the fence, to make the whole area look brighter and fresh.
