Parbrook Play Area, Billingshurst
As part of our continuous programme of play areas across the District, we are now progressing with plans to improve the play opportunities at Parbrook Play Area (between Berrall Way and Stane Street).
Our aim is to make this space even more fun and welcoming for children of all ages to enjoy,
We’ve finalised plans to install the during the Summer Holidays 2026:
Snake Swing with new safety surface: Within the play area, we will introduce a thick rope swing which lots of kids can play on together. This one goes back and forwards rather than up in the air.
Zip Wire with new safety surface: In the wider open space, we'll be installing a zip wire for speedy rides.
Sheltered seating: Near the path we’re planning on creating a spot, that's perfect to relax and chat.
General tidy up: There will be two new gates and fencing repairs, which will make the whole area look brighter and fresh.

Pop-Up in the Park
Wednesday 1 September

Join us for our 'Pop-Up in the Park' on Wednesday 1 September.
Try the new play equipment and join the team for archery, games, arts and crafts, trails and quizzes.
This is a free event and everyone's welcome, so simply pop along and enjoy your local open space.
