Environmental Impact Assessment Public Register

Environmental Impact Assessment Screening Opinions are issued by the Council under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Regulations) (England and Wales) 1999 (as amended). A screening opinion states whether the Authority (or, if applicable, Secretary of State) thinks an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) should be submitted for a future or current development proposal.

Once a screening opinion has been adopted it must be held on the public register for a period of two years.

The list below contains screening opinions given prior to the submission of a planning applications since 2017.  Where Scoping Opinions have been submitted to the Council a copy is available to view in the table below.
