Delay to Horsham District Local Plan process
At the request of the Acting Leader a decision was taken to delay the Local Plan until later this year. The planned meetings of Cabinet and Full Council on 18 January 2023 have therefore been cancelled.
The Local Plan review timetable will be updated in due course.
Regulation 19 - Further opportunities to have your say
Once approved at Council we will be seeking your views on the Submission Draft of the Local Plan (Regulation 19) to consider whether the Local Plan meets the nationally set planning 'tests'. This is part of the statutory process to allow representations to be made on the Local Plan before it is submitted to the Secretary of State.
For further information about the stages of plan preparation and the timescales this will take place, visit our Local Plan Review timetable page.
