Facilitating Appropriate Development
In advance of the production of a new Local Plan, the Council has produced the Facilitating Appropriate Development (FAD) document which will be a material consideration in the planning applications that involve the provision of new homes. The document sets out the Council's aspirations and the weight that can be given to current and emerging policy within the context of current legislation, national policy and guidance.
The Facilitating Appropriate Development document was endorsed at Full Council on 19 October 2022.
