Horsham District Employment Support Hub
The Horsham Employment Hub helps residents move towards employment, training, self-employment and greater career confidence.
Delivered by Adam Knight & Associates in partnership with Horsham District Council, the Hub provides accessible, personalised support for residents at different stages of their employment journey. This includes people who are unemployed or returning to work, those considering a career change, and residents who need help navigating an increasingly digital and competitive labour market.
Support is shaped around each person’s circumstances, strengths and goals. Residents can receive help to create or improve their CV, complete stronger job applications, search for suitable vacancies and prepare for interviews. The Hub also provides guidance on transferable skills, LinkedIn and digital job-search platforms, training opportunities, career direction and self-employment.
The service recognises that the route towards work is not always straightforward. Therefore, where appropriate, participants can also be connected with specialist organisations and wider local support.

Think Futures
Think Futures Careers Advisers support young people (school leavers) aged 16 – 25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) across Horsham by providing careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG).
The project is a partnership between West Sussex County Council and Horsham District Council to help young people to think about their next steps, recognise their skills, strengths and ambitions and find out about local opportunities that they can access. Young people can self-refer. Engagement with our service is entirely voluntary for young people, so they (or parents/guardians/carers) must be aware and consent to being contacted before a referral is made.
Careers support can include:
- Careers interview (information, advice and guidance)
- Psychometric test / Skills questionnaire or resources
- Education/training search and application support (e.g., college or training)
- CV review
- Interview support/prep
- Apprenticeship search and application support
- Job search support
- Motivational interviewing
- Confidence building
- Identification and affirmation of skills and qualities
- Aspiration building
We offer a flexible service. Careers Advisers will usually meet young people out in the community and can also offer interventions virtually on MS Teams or through a phone call.
