West Sussex PASS Part-time Study Programme

Part-time study programmes in Horsham to help prepare young people aged 16 to 19  for employment, active citizenship, and to gain extra qualifications.

West Sussex PASS Part-time Study Programme

West Sussex County Council's part-time programmes help young people prepare for employment, gain further qualifications and engage in active citizenship within one academic year.

The course runs for 18 weeks, with the next taking place February 2026. Courses are made up of the following essential components:

  • Level 1 Introduction to Customer Service or Entry Level 3 Introduction to Customer Service qualifications.
  • Employability/Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE).
  • Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications  if you do not have a GCSE grade 4 or above.
  • Work related activities.

Each learner’s English and Maths starting points will be assessed to make sure they are placed at the correct level. Please email to find out more or to arrange an information and enrolment session.
