Volunteer at the Council
We recognise that volunteers have a contribution to make to the Council, to help us meet our Corporate Plan priorities and ensure that our communities are diverse and by drawing on the wide range of skills, knowledge and experience individuals have, volunteers can have an enormously positive impact on the work that we do.
If you are interested in volunteering at the Council, please complete our online Volunteer Application Form and return it to us.
It would be extremely helpful if you could indicate which areas of the Council you would be most interested in volunteering with, as this will help us place you. If you indicate an area of interest, we will forward your application to that department and they will be in touch with you directly to discuss any available opportunities.
If you do not specify an area, then we will hold your details for six months and someone will be in touch with you if there are any available opportunities.
Volunteer in the community
