Cancel, amend or renew your permit

Resident parking permits are valid for one year, but we understand circumstances can change. It's easy to make changes to your resident parking permit.

Change the vehicle on your permit

To change your vehicle you will need to visit our Parkside office. Please bring your current permit and and proof of new vehicle ownership and a new permit will be issued to you immediately. The charge for this service is £5.

Renew your permit

Please renew your permit at least 7 days before its expiry date, to allow time to process the renewal and delivery in 2nd-class post.

It is your responsibility to renew your permit in good time.

You can renew your permit in the following ways:

  • Email parking@horsham.gov.uk to renew. You will need to call us or visit us to pay, or post your payment to us.
  • Call us on 01403 215058 to renew and pay
  • Visit our offices to renew and pay
  • Write to us at Parking Services, Horsham District Council, Chart Way, Horsham RH12 1RL and include payment
If you are a Horsham Zone A permit holder and fail to renew your permit, it may not subsequently be renewed.

Permit holders with expired permits are advised not to park in a resident's bay until the permit or alternative exemption is displayed.

Cancel your permit and apply for a refund

To apply for a refund for a cancelled permit, complete the online refund application, print it, sign it and send to the Council with the permit.

Lost or stolen permits

If your permit has been lost or stolen, we can replace it for you. The charge for this service is £10.
